Postnatal Breastfeeding support
Now your baby has arrived
Once your baby has made his or her entrance into the world, I can give you confidence for your feeding journey in a number of different ways.
One-to-One Breastfeeding Support Home Visit
Session lasting around 90 minutes
£125 home visit (£115 virtual)
Breastfeeding can be one of the most wonderful experiences to share with your baby. However, when things aren’t going smoothly, it can be incredibly distressing. Many mums sadly get to the stage of dreading the next feed. But it really doesn’t have to be that way.
I offer one-to-one Breastfeeding Support sessions, where I come to visit you in your own home. In these:
· We discuss how feeding is going, as well as discussing your experiences during pregnancy and birth
· You show me how you’re currently feeding, so I can see your challenges first-hand. I always watch a full feed so that I can really understand what you’re experiencing.
· I offer advice about how to address any concerns, and together we make a plan about how you will confidently move forward on your breastfeeding journey
· I conduct an oral assessment of your baby, if I feel it would be helpful
After the session, I share a written summary of our meeting, including an action plan. This gives you something to refer back to whenever you need it.
I follow-up with you 2-3 business days later to see how things are going. You also have access to me over What’s App for a further 2 weeks to ask any questions you may have.
These one to one sessions can also be tailored to returning-to-work or introducing solid foods alongside breastmilk.

Group Breastfeeding Support at Woking Breastfeeding Café
I jointly run the FREE weekly Woking Breastfeeding Café, every Monday at 10am-12pm at United Reformed Church in Woking. This is a drop-in support session for anyone giving, or wanting to give, human milk to their baby or child. Advice is completely free – the church just suggest a small donation for the venue.
Every week there will be between one and three of us available to provide advice – myself as a International Certified Board Lactation Consultant, a breastfeeding counsellor and a breastfeeding peer support. Check out our Instagram profile for the latest information.
You don’t need to book, so just come down for breastfeeding help or to meet likeminded mums!
